Compared to the same month last year, this represents an increase of 19.6 percent. Compared to the previous month, September, it represents an increase of 20.4 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before Christmas sales, the advertising pressure for 2022 has amounted to CHF 5,407 million gross, up 27.8 percent from 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Advertising pressure declined in just three sectors \u2013 <strong>cleaning, cosmetics &#038; personal care<\/strong> and <strong>digital &#038; household<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The UVEK energy conservation campaign generated the most advertising pressure in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:25px\"><br><br><strong>Advertising Pressure in the market as a whole<\/strong><br>Development of Advertising Pressure as per October 2022 in million francs (gross)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mediafocus.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Gesamtmarkt_Grafik_EN-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-33802\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mediafocus.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Gesamtmarkt_Tabelle_EN.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-33761\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:25px\"><br><strong><br>Retail undisputedly in the lead<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With an increase of 35.6 percent, <strong>retail<\/strong> continues to rank first among all sectors. However, the biggest increase <strong>in terms of<\/strong> advertising pressure in October was recorded by the <strong>energy sector<\/strong> (+74.1%). <strong>Public transport<\/strong> followed closely behind, also increasing advertising pressure by 66.8 percent. Among others, the sectors <strong>leisure, gastronomy and tourism<\/strong> (+56.1%) and <strong>services<\/strong> (+53.6%) achieved a strong increase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:25px\"><strong><strong>Advertising pressure declined in just three sectors in October <\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>cleaning sector<\/strong> experienced the greatest decline in October, with a drop of 31.8 percent.
